Senior Commercial H.V.A.C.R. Service Technician

Qualified candidates must have 7-years experience in light commercial air conditioning, controls and refrigeration – service, maintenance and installation. Candidates must also be well-organized, outgoing with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competitive pay $18-$26 (based on experience)
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability to pass background and drug-screening check
  • Universal EPA Certification or Type II
  • Minimum 7+ yrs experience in commercial H.V.A.C.R. applications
  • Ability to perform all physical aspects associated with H.V.A.C./Refrigeration repairs/maintenance. While performing the duties of this position the employee will be required to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time; as well as bend, squat, kneel, climb and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Superior knowledge of H.V.A.C.R. systems, diagnosis, maintenance & repair
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, able to develop & build positive business relationships with clients
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required, able to participate in the on-call nights/weekends rotation when assigned
  • Possess hand tools required to perform the functions of the service technician position
  • Ability to pass technical knowledge questionnaire
Required experience:
  • 7-years experience in light commercial air conditioning, controls and refrigeration (Residential techs need not apply).
  • Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting and/or repairing a variety of malfunctions in complex, multi-zone air conditioning systems, devising and controlling air distribution efficiently with maximum comfort
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment: walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins and remote systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing exhaust systems and make-up air units

 

Commercial H.V.A.C. Lead Installer         

Ideal candidates must have 5+years experience and be able to handle a variety of projects ranging from light commercial replacement to commercial new construction. Candidates must also be well-organized, outgoing with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competitive pay $16-$24 (based on experience)
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability to pass background and drug-screening check
  • Travel with overnight stays is required
  • Possess hand tools required to perform the functions of the position
  • Minimum 5+ yrs experience in commercial H.V.A.C. applications
  • Ability to perform all physical aspects associated with H.V.A.C. installation. While performing the duties of this position the employee will be required to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time; as well as bend, squat, kneel, climb and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Excellent customer service skills, able to develop & build positive business relationships with clients
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, if required
Job responsibilities:
  •  Able to read blueprints, produce material and material take-offs
  • Install materials and equipment per plans and specifications
  • Interpret equipment submittals and manufacturer’s installation manuals
  • Ensure projects are installed properly and successfully pass all required inspections
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with and coordinate with other sub-contractors
  • Ensure company vehicles and tools are properly maintained
  • Provide management with estimated labor hours for specific projects
  • Identify change orders
  • Mentor and coach helpers
  • Posses strong knowledge of H.V.A.C. industry best practices
